Red Coats are coming embodies a powerful dialogue between two histories- Aborginal connection to country and the enduring scars of separation and the European linage shaped by migration, famine, and displacement. In this piece collaboration, our artistic voices intertwine to reflect both pain and healing, conflict and conciliation. Through the Language of ancient Aborginal symbols and modern European symbols a contemporary expression explores the effect of invasion and loss- not only of land but of identity and belonging. A shared vision of understanding that transcends cultural divide. Our fusion of styles becomes a bridge and art becomes an act of reconciliation, truth and unity.
